Bio
I’m Mrs. Pitts, I teach Student Success Support, Introduction to Psychology, and ILS. Last school year I completed my school counseling internship here at NPA, and I am very excited to be joining the team full-time for the 2022-2023 school year. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in anthropology from Central Washington University, as well as a graduate certificate in the psychology of human development and learning and a master’s degree in school counseling from Northern Arizona University. My husband Mike and I are from Washington state but have lived in Flagstaff since 2019 with our sweet rescue pups Lucy and Lola. In my free time I enjoy cooking, crafting, traveling, and all things outdoors. My goal as an educator is to empower learners to achieve their highest potential while supporting their mental and emotional wellbeing.
