Northland Prep Graduation Requirements

Requirements

At least 20 of the 24 overall credits shall be core class credits.

  • 4 credits of English
  • 4 credits of Math, including one course beyond Algebra II
  • 4 credits of Social Studies (2 World History, 1 US History, 1 US Govt./Economics)
  • 3 credits of Foreign Language (consecutive years of same language)
  • 3 credits of Laboratory Science
  • 2 credits of Core Electives
  • 1 credit of a Fine Art
  • 3 credits of additional electives (any courses other than those listed above)

**Core Electives may consist of any of the following: a fourth year of a Foreign Language or Lab Science, the AP Capstone courses (AP Seminar and AP Research), Introduction to Psychology, AP Computer Science, AP Studio Art, Model United Nations, Creative Writing, Introduction to Engineering Design, or Sports Medicine and several others. College courses at either CCC or NAU, if logistically feasible given student schedule might also be considered upon approval.

**All classes are yearlong courses and are worth ½ credit each semester equaling one full credit at the end of the year.
