Bio
My teaching began when I started as an after school recreation supervisor for 5-12 year olds in 1999 at my alma mater, The University of Illinois. I later worked in special education at Hinsdale Central High School in Illinois before moving to Northern Arizona to get my MA in Education. I then worked at Coconino High School, Flagstaff High School, and during a brief move to California, I worked at South Tahoe High School. I began teaching at NPA as a special education teacher before transitioning to become the 6th grade Writing teacher. This year, I decided on going back to high school to teach 12th Grade English. I also teach Creative Writing at the middle and high school level.
